Picking a Location
When is come to secure a great location for your Healthy Juices store, franchisees have two options:
1-Request a current list of “pre-approved” locations from Healthy Juices
2-Submit a desire location to Healthy Juices for approval
Once a mutually agreeable location is found, Healthy Juices will supply its own brokers to serve as your representatives in dealing with the leasing process and securing the most favorable lease terms possible. You may execute the Lease Agreement directly with the landlord or Healthy Juices may execute the Lease Agreement and Assign/Sublease in much case it depends on what is required to secure the lease. If you are executing the lease directly with the landlord, www.healthyjuices.ca will supply you with their standard form letter of intent and lease addendum. Prior to final execution Healthy Juices will review and approve the lease with feedback on the contents to further assist you in the process.
Step 2
Store Development
Once a location is secured, you will receive the Healthy Juices Franchise Package and checklists. The Healthy Juices Store Development Team will review the landlord’s drawings; design and initial conceptual and major equipment list, and review them with you. Once you sign off on the design they will generate a full set of preliminary construction drawings and assist you with the next steps including architectural drawings, permitting, construction bid and approval, and support through the build-out process.
The timeframe for store development varies significantly and must take into consideration the specific regional requirements, as well as condition of the lease space. Whether your store will be located in an existing shopping center or a brand new development, regional areas differ dramatically and will impact the timeline and cost of store development. You should generally allow 2 weeks to negotiate and execute a lease, 1 week for design, approval, and drawings, 2-4 weeks for permits, and 4-6 weeks to construct. Approximately 3-4 months total process for brand new location. In certain case you can have the store ready in 6-7 weeks.
Step 3
Training
The standard Healthy Juices New Franchisee Training Program is 2 weeks and typically commences prior to the anticipated store opening date. Once acclimated to normal business operations, you will be considered qualified to open a new location. After that, ongoing training is available as needed, and will also be provided as necessary to account for regular operational improvements.

Open for Business
Congratulations, you are now and official member of the Healthy Juices team!
